FIVE DECADES FROM THE DISCOVERY OF THE COMEDIA LA SEGUNDA CELESTINA OF SOR JUANA INÉS DE LA CRUZ
Abstract
The finding of a lost comedy of Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz in 1990 was a landmark in the sorjuanismo: La segunda Celestina. Octavio Paz wrote a Prologue and edited the comedia in its own editorial. The discoverer was Guillermo Schmidhuber at the library of the University of Philadelphia, USA. A comedy in collaboration with AgustÃn de Salazar y Torres, who died in 1675 and left unfinished this comedy and Sor Juana wrote the ending. This article presents the research after the 25 years of the discovery that proves the co-authorship of the nun.
