Abstract

Ever since the beginning of CALL (Computer-Assisted Language Learning), authoring tools or authoring templates have been an important aspect of the exploitation of new technologies in foreign language learning. The intention here is to exemplify the general principles of how authoring tools can be made use of in order to generate more authentic materials for use in language learning and expose groups of learners to exercises geared specifically at their individual needs.
